   June Duren Perry of Savannah, Tennessee was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on January 15, 1935, the daughter of Clifford and Flora Scott Duren. On August 14, 1954, she was united in marriage to William Lee

“Pee Wee” Perry, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2013. June departed this life on Tuesday, April 7,

2020, at the age of 85 years, 2 months, and 23 days. She was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In her lifetime, June had worked for Brown Shoe Company for over 7 years and as a beautician for

25 years.

   June is survived by her daughter, Shelly Stricklin (Larry) of Collinwood, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jeremy Stricklin (Sara), Jordan Johnson (Robert), Josh Stricklin (Brittany), Candace Madsen (Denny), and Michael Yates (Jurnee); and great-grandchildren, Lucas Stricklin, Noah Stricklin, Lilly Stricklin, Sawyer Stricklin, Elihu Stricklin, Knox Stricklin, William Reaves, Malachi Johnson, Rozalynn Johnson, Finley Johnson, Zoey

Gardner, Emma Madsen, and Silas Yates.

   In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Staggs (Carl), Gladys Martin (Alfred), and Bernice Wooley (Ray); and brothers, Claude Duren (Hattie), Floyd Duren (Frankie), Milton Duren (Hattie), and Jerry C. Duren.

   In response to Governor Lee’s Executive Order 17 which took effect at 12:01 AM March 23, 2020, there will be no public visitations or services until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.
