Joshua Wade Benedict Arrested for Drugs, DUI

   Joshua Wade Benedict, age 34, of Collinwood, was arrested on Friday, July 3rd on charges of driving under the influence, simple possession of schedule IV, simple possession of schedule VI, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Darren Pounders of the Waynesboro Police Department filed a report stating that he performed a traffic stop on Benedict’s vehicle for having a brake light out. Benedict allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests, and was allegedly found to be in possession of a pill identified as Xanax, two marijuana “roaches,” and multiple drug paraphernalia items. He was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $17,500.00 bond.
