Jordan David Powers Arrested for Assault, Vandalism, Interference with Emergency Communications

   Jordan David Powers, age 24, of Lutts, Tennessee, was arrested on Friday, December 13th on charges related to an incident that allegedly took place on Sunday, November 24th. Deputy Brent Butler filed a report stating that Powers engaged in an altercation with his father, James Powers, pushing him into a door. Powers also allegedly kicked an interior door in the home, causing damage to the door, and took a cordless phone from his father while his father was attempting to call 911 and stomped on the phone. Powers was arrested on charges of domestic assault, vandalism, and interference with emergency communications. He is being held in the Wayne County Jail with no bond due to a violation of probation.
