   Johnnie F. White was born on September 20, 1934 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of the late Polk  English and Lillian Agnes Hodge White.

   On December 22, 1957, he was united in marriage to Josephine Barrier, who preceded her husband in death on September 17, 2014.

   Mr. White worked on gas and water lines for Savannah Utility Department. He was of Baptist belief and lived in Wayne County and Hardin County all of his life. Johnnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, mechanical work, farming, horseback riding, carpentry work, and just working on different things in general.

   Johnnie F. White departed this life on October 4, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years and 14 days.
   He is survived by his daughter, Sue Brown and her husband David of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Randy White and his wife Linda and Chris White and his wife Kim, all of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Leva White of Florence, Alabama, Bettye Wright of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and Virginia White Hardeman of Loretto, Tennessee; grandchildren, Shane Brown, Chad Brown, Courtney White, Jennifer Justice, Sarah Duncan, Callie White, and Abbie White; and great-grandchildren, Bryson Brown, Ashlyn Brown, Ryan Brown, Acen Brown, Averi Brown, Raeonna Rhodes, Raylan Rhodes, Ryleigh Rhodes, and Remington Harrison.
   In addition to his parents and wife, Johnnie was preceded in death by his siblings, Boyd White, Edna White, Pauline Newman, and Lawrence White.

   Services were held on October 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah in Savannah, Tennessee, with Benny Taylor and Tony Polk officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah, Tennessee.
