John Paul Horan III was born November 11, 1946 in South Bend Indiana, the son of the late John Paul and Jean Horan. Mr. Horan III departed this life at his home on January 28, 2021 in Clifton, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 2 Months, 17 Days.
John was well known for his ability to fix just about anything with moving parts and was more than willing to do this for his friends. His favorite activities were boating and cooking for large numbers of people. His hog roasts were epic. Although he faced many health obstacles in his life, he always met them with courage and grace, never with complaints or questioning “why me.” He will be missed.
He is survived by his significant other of over forty years, Jean Appelt; sister, Jean Badry of Kokomo, IN. In addition to his parents, Mr. Horan III was preceded in death by a brother, James Horan.
