Jimmy Robert Murphy Arrested for Methamphetamine

   Jimmy Robert Murphy, age 42, of Cypress Inn, Tennessee, was arrested on Sunday, December 15th following a traffic stop for a window tint violation. According to the report filed by Deputy Tyler McKenzie, Murphy was a passenger in the vehicle, and when the occupants got out of the vehicle, he noticed that Murphy was holding a drink container. Deputy McKenzie asked Murphy to open the container, and in addition to alcohol, the container held a plastic bag that contained less than 0.5 grams of methamphetamine. Murphy was arrested on charges of tampering with evidence and manufacture/deliver/sell/possession of methamphetamine, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $100,000.00 bond.
