   James Timothy (Qbert) Staggs of Collinwood, Tennessee was born on Monday, October 27, 1969 in Waynesboro, Tennessee.  He was a welder with UA Local 760 Plumbers and Steamfitters and was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and departed this life on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at his home at the age of 50 years and 27 days after a lengthy illness.

   Mr. Staggs is survived by his daughter, Madison Staggs of Collinwood, TN; his parents, James E. and Janet Daniel Staggs of Iron City, TN; his brothers, Marcus Staggs (Marsha) of Iron City, TN and Adam Staggs (Candy) of Collinwood, TN; his fiancee’ and life partner, Melissa Whitten of Cypress Inn, TN; his grandmother, Carlene Daniel of Iron City, TN; and his sidekick, his dog, Blanche. Qbert was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Arlene Rumbaugh Staggs and his grandparents, Lester W. and Georgia Staggs, Frank Rumbaugh, Elsie Brown and Leslie Daniel.

   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Stults officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. The visitation was Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers were Tim Broome, Colt Risner, Adam Whitten, Dustin Robertson, Greg Pigg, and Michael Wright with Dale Dicus serving as an honorary pallbearer.
