James Scott

Mr. James Scott, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee passed away peacefully at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, TN, on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. James was born in High Splint, Kentucky to Mary and Guy “Tony” Scott.
He lived a very rich life with his wife, Barbara Mae Scott, and their four sons, Jimmy, Tony, Thomas, and Joey. James was a World War II veteran who served in the Navy on the USNTC San Diego, USS Dorsey, and then on the USS Hawkins. He is survived by his two sons Thomas, his wife Pamela, and son Joey, his loving grandchildren, in- laws, nieces and nephews, and a host of long true friends.
Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with family members officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Methodist Church Cemetery near the Natchez Trace between Lawrenceburg and Waynesboro with full military honors. Visitation is to be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN.
