   Mr. James Robert Johnson was born July 31, 1940 in Lutts, Tennessee the son of the late Walker and Margaret Bratton Johnson. Mr. Johnson was an Assembly Line Worker for Murray Ohio, where he retired after 36 years of service. He attended the Whitescreek Freewill Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Margaret Ayers on May 19, 1964. Mr. Johnson departed this life on December 31, 2020 in Lutts, Tennessee making his stay in this life some 80 Years and 5 Months.

   He is survived by his wife Margaret Ayers Johnson of Lutts, TN; his children, Belinda Jones (Jeff) of Waynesboro, TN; Jeffery Johnson (Susan) of Collinwood, TN; Brenda Pevahouse (Larry) of Waynesboro, TN; Nancy Ayers (Mansel) of Lutts, TN; Eugene Johnson of Lutts, TN; Christy Maples (Jowhn) of Waynesboro, TN; and Michelle Lawson of Lutts, TN. Two sisters, Janice Balentine (Edwin) of Cypress Inn, TN; and Beatrice Porter (Kenny) of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren with 2 more due in 2021.

   In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by three brothers, William Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Johnny Johnson; and four sisters, Louise White, Mary Walker Martin, Gloria Fisher, Geneva English.
   Services were held on Sunday January 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, Tennessee, with Robert Marks and Greg Eaton  officiating. Burial followed in the Johnson Cemetery at Lutts, Tennessee, Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting.
