Jack Ward Boroughs was born April 24, 1943 in Clifton, TN, the son of the late Mont Wallace and Jackie Lois Howard Boroughs. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue Davis Seitz on November 5, 2009. Mr. Boroughs was a United States Navy Veteran and retired as a Master Chief. He was a member of the Waynesboro First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, TN and he was involved in the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Seitz Boroughs of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Monty Boroughs and Robin of Gray, TN; a brother, Wallace Boroughs and Karen of Clifton, TN; stepsons, Greg Seitz of Jacksonville, AL, Shayne Seitz of Waynesboro, TN, and Brian Robbins and Donna; stepdaughter DeLana Carter and Doug; grandchildren Shelby, Ethan, Kelsie and Madisyn Boroughs; Jordan and Lauren Carter; three great- grandchildren Gianna, Amelia and Elli; and six step-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Boroughs was preceded in death by wives, Jackie Boroughs and Jean Boroughs, brother, Jimmy Boroughs and stepson, Duncan Robbins.
Graveside services were held on June 13, 2022 at the Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, TN with David Boroughs and Adam Rush officiating at 3 p.m. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne Co. assisted the family.
