According to Investigator Dale Palmer of the Collinwood Police Department, Brentlyn Hunt, age 25, of Iron City, was found deceased at a residence in Collinwood early on Saturday morning.
Investigator Palmer confirmed that Hunt was discovered after a 911 call from a citizen who was concerned about Hunt’s well-being. Officers went to the residence in Collinwood at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 1st, and discovered Hunt’s lifeless body.
Investigator Palmer said that the death is being labeled as suspicious, and declined to release any further details at this time. Hunt’s body has been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Nashville, and investigators are awaiting the results of the autopsy and toxicology report.
Investigator Jeff Dunn from the District Attorney’s Office is assisting Investigator Dale Palmer with the investigation.
