   Mrs. Irene Pigg Stults was born May 30, 1929 in Wayne County, Tennessee to the union of the late Homer and Emma Simmons Pigg. She was united in marriage to Ray Alton Stults in April of 1946, he preceeded her in death on March 17, 1987. She was a homemaker, loving mother, wonderful grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend, and a member of Scotts Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Stults departed this life on June 19, 2020 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee making her stay in this life 91 Years and 20 Days.

   She is survived by her son, Jimmy  Stults and wife Barbara of Cypress Inn, TN; her daughter, Judy Hayes and husband Jerry of Cypress Inn, TN; thirteen grandchildren, Kirk Stults (Samantha), Sandy Martin (Jeff), Shannon Holt (Stacy), Jennifer Summers (Ronald), Jami Duren (Brandston), David Pigg, Michelle Stooksberry (Josh), Chrystal Stults, Matthew Stults (Anna), Lance  Hayes (Fran), Joy Poe (Curtis), Lori Rust (John), Tori Hayes (Sam). She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great –grandchildren; two special caregivers who she thought of as daughters, Gwen Burns and Gayla Whitehead; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

   In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stults was preceded in death by a son, Jerrol Wayne Stults; a sister, Immogene Whittaker; a brother, James Pigg; and a great-grandson, Daykoda Martin.
   Services were held on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Collinwood with John E. Banks officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting.
