In the month of March, Collinwood Elementary School raises money for the American Heart Association. During this time, the students learn about the importance of being active and keeping a healthy heart. Hoops for Heart is an exciting fundraiser for the kids as they get to see who the new characters will be each time.
The fundraiser was a big success this year, raising a total of $2,083.98! The top five fundraisers were Jaylen Stricklin, raising a total of $530; Lane Holt; Pace Butler; Blair Risner; and Aiden Hickerson.
