Harold Earl Berry was born January 13, 1945 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late James Earl Berry and Lovie Laverne Wright Nichols. He was united in marriage to Margaret “Sissy” Cher Balentine on December 8, 2007. Mr. Berry retired as a Machinist for Browns Ferry Nuclear Power Plant, was a member of the Machinist Union, Freemasonry of Collinwood, TN and Shoals Valley, AL, and Cahaba Shriners of Huntsville, AL. He departed this life on November 12, 2021 at his residence in Cypress Inn, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 9 months, and 30 days.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Cher “Sissy” Balentine Berry of Cypress Inn, TN; a son, David Harold Berry and wife Melissa of Cypress Inn, TN; two grandchildren, Hayden and Carlie Berry.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Berry was preceded in death by stepfather, Leroy Nichols, and a sister, Shirley Jeanetter Berry Faires.

Funeral services were on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Collinwood, TN, with Brant Sanders officiating. Burial followed in McGlamery Cemetery. Pallbearers: Howard Peden, Coy Weeks, Jason McDaniel, Doug Robbins, Roger Faires, Jeff Vines, Kevin Garner. Honorary Pallbearers: Haiden Viegas, Jake Stith.
