On Monday, November 22nd, Benjamin “Ben” Tucker of Hornsby, Tennessee was reported missing by his family. Ben’s family posted on social media that he was last seen in Bolivar, Tennessee on November 22nd at approximately 8:00 p.m., and no one has heard from him since.

Wayne County Sheriff Shane Fisher confirmed that Ben’s truck, a 1991 black Ford with a silver toolbox, was found in Wayne County in the 48 Creek/Highway 64 East area on Sunday, November 28th. Sheriff Fisher said that hunters came across the truck, which was parked off the roadway but was not concealed. After the hunters reported the truck being found, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office began a search on foot for Tucker, and a THP helicopter was dispatched to Wayne County to perform a search by air. Sheriff Fisher stated that the search continued for about a day and a half before being called off with no further evidence that Tucker was still in the area. Someone matching Tucker’s description was reportedly seen walking in the area at some time prior to the search.

Sheriff Fisher stated that at this time, there has been no evidence of foul play in connection with Tucker’s disappearance, and he has no known outstanding warrants. Tucker is 6’3 and weighs approximately 185 lbs. Anyone with information on his disappearance is asked to contact the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department at 731-658-3971 or the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at 931-722-3615.
