Guy Smith, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of Wayne County, Tennessee, died on July 3, 2020. He was born on November 9, 1931, in Wayne County, TN, the son of the late Roy H. Smith and Effie M. Hurst Smith. Mr. Smith was retired from Fort Carson, with 30 years of military service at the rank of Master Sergeant.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Jeanette Reynolds Smith; son, Carey Roy Smith of Texas; daughters, Kimberly Morelli of North Carolina, Kathy Muller of Wisconsin, Rebecca Hoffman of New York, and Sandra Smith of New York; sister, Beulah Evans of Waynesboro; brother, Roy Smith, Jr. of Indiana; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Charles H. (Buck) Smith of Waynesboro, Elbert Lewis Smith of Griffin, Georgia; half-brother, James E. Hurst.
No services were held. At his request, Mr. Smith was cremated.
