Gregory Allen Potete was born May 8, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Colin and Mae Bostic Potete. Mr. Potete was a disabled machinist and worked many years in his wrecker service. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding all-terrain vehicles. Mr. Potete departed this life on July 16, 2021 at the age of 54 Years, 2 Months, 8 Days.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by son, Tyler Potete of Collinwood, TN; daughter, Kayla Potete of Waynesboro, TN; a brother, Gerald Potete of Double Springs, AL; a sister, Regina Wright of Anchorage, AK.
Services were held on Monday July 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Daniel Graves and Danny McConnell officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery at Collinwood, Tennessee.
Visitation was held Sunday July 18, 2021 from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and again Monday from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
