Waynesboro is set to burst into spring on Saturday, March 20th! In place of the traditional Easter Egg Hunt, the Downtown Waynesboro Committee, along with the Easter Bunny, will partner together to hosting a Glow Egg Hunt at the Gazebo Park on the public square in Waynesboro.

This new and modified event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m. There will be two age groups eligible to hunt: 3-5 year olds and 6-8 year olds. Registration is required for the free event and will begin at 6:00 p.m. Children participating are reminded to bring a small basket or bag for the egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around, available for photos with your children.

The Downtown Waynesboro Committee is excited to provide an event that gives families the opportunity to not only enjoy our town, but celebrate the Easter holiday season in a fun and safe environment. Our community has pivoted during the past year to adapt to the changing times with new needs for its patrons and this event is another example of efforts to continue our mission in enriching the lives. Everyone is invited to attend!

A rain date is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 3rd.
