Glenda Mae Staggs, Lawrenceburg, TN, was born February 4, 1959 in Lawrenceburg to Claudie M. Bryson Drake of Leoma, TN, who survives, and the late Glen T. Smith. She married Terry Staggs, April 14, 1979. Glenda, a retired LPN, had been a factory worker at Murray Ohio Manufacturing prior to going into healthcare. She was of the Christian faith and departed this life Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 63 Years, 9 Months, 4 Days.
Glenda had a smile that would bring light to any person she encountered. Besides her mother, survivors, husband, Terry Staggs, Lawrenceburg, TN; son, Colby L. Staggs and daughter, Chelsea T. Staggs both of Waynesboro, TN; brother, James P. Smith, Leoma, TN; sister, Gail Prentice, husband, Danny, Lawrenceburg, TN. Other than her father, Glenda was preceded in death by sister, Claudette Holden.
Services were Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Dusty Malugen officiating. Burial was in Highland Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceburg (Wayne County), Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family. Pallbearers were Ron Staggs, Jamie Vines, Brannon Olive, Chris Olive, Shane Olive, and Johnny Staggs.
