Georgia Woman Arrested for Smuggling Two Cell Phones into Prison at Clifton

   Bertha Jean Marshall, age 52, of Ringgold, Georgia was arrested on one count of introduction of contraband into a penal institution. The report filed by Chief Jerroll Henderson of the Clifton Police Department stated that Marshall was visiting a prisoner at CoreCivic. When her personal items were searched, officers allegedly found two cell phones in her coat pocket. Marshall was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $50,000.00 bond.
