Mr. Gary Lee Stooksberry of Waynesboro, Tennessee was born on May 6, 1959 in Florence, Alabama. He was a son of the late Theda and Margie Andrews Stooksberry. Mr. Stooksberry was a towmotor and computer operator for Murray Ohio manufacturing company in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a member of the Swan Creek Baptist Church in Hampshire, Tennessee. Mr. Stooksberry departed this life on February 22, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 61 Years, 9 Months and 16 Days.
He is survived by two daughters, Shannon Cotton and Ashley Stooksberry, both of Leoma, TN; a son, William Stooksberry of Columbia, TN; a brother, Steve Stooksberry and his wife, Dorothy of Humble, TX; three grandchildren, Kaylee Cotton, Logan Cotton and Jada Davis as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service for Mr. Stooksberry was held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Memorial Gardens of Wayne County in Collinwood, TN at 11:00 am with Ricky Nelson officiating. Burial followed the service with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. A brief visitation was held prior to the graveside service at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County chapel in Collinwood, TN.
