Floyd Hardin Cole, Jr. was born November 2, 1961 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of Rothie Nell Cole Pope and the late Floyd Hardin Cole. Mr. Cole departed this life on March 3, 2020 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 4 Months, 1 Day.
Mr. Cole was employed with the Wayne County
Highway Department and was a self employed farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Rothie
Nell Cole Pope, and step-father, J.D. Pope, both of Clifton, TN; sisters,
Clara Ruth Hooper and Pamela Eline Hicks, both of Waynesboro,
TN; step-brother, Steve Pope of Clifton, TN; step-sisters, Doris Allen of
Clifton, TN, Kay Burns and Tracy Martin of Waynesboro, TN; nieces, Marcy
Hankins of Waynesboro, TN, Kimberly Russell of McMinnville,TN; nephew, Justin
Davidson of Waynesboro, TN; one great-nephew, three great-nieces, one
great-great-nephew, and one great-great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Floyd Hardin Cole, Sr.
Services were held on March 6, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Casey Jones officiating. Burial followed in Cole Cemetery on Factory Creek Road in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
