Mrs. Florine Brock Pevahouse Edington of Savannah, Tennessee, formerly of Clifton, Tennessee, was born on Monday, February 18, 1935 in Decatur County, TN, the daughter of the late Jessie Farris and Bertha Mae Webster Brock. She married Gordon Atkin Edington, June 9, 2003 and he preceded her in death, January 9, 2014. Mrs. Edington had worked for 15 years at Clifton Contracting in Clifton, TN, two years with TDS Telephone Company, and also as a CNA. She had served on the Clifton, TN election committee and also had served as a director for the Clifton Senior Citizens. Mrs. Edington was a member of the Clifton United Methodist Church. She departed this life, Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Savannah Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 8 months, 14 days.
She is survived by her two sons, Bobby Pevahouse, Jr. and wife Jackie, and Stephen (Fuzz) Pevahouse and wife Selena, all of Clifton, TN; her six grandchildren; and her ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Edington was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Faye Pevahouse Pulley, and a sister, Doty Prater.
Services were held Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Josh Layne officiating. Burial was in the Clifton Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Stephen Warren Pevahouse, James Christopher Lineberry, Weston Lineberry, Dane Bryant, Rodney Hester, and Kevin Morris.
