Brandy Latara Fuqua, age 35, of Florence, Alabama, was arrested on Monday, March 30th following an incident at the Wayne County Jail.
Officer Cody Jones filed a report stating that Fuqua, whose brother is currently incarcerated at the Wayne County Jail, was told numerous times to leave the jail property because her business was concluded. Fuqua allegedly became belligerent and refused to leave the jail. The report goes on to state that Fuqua offered money to Officer Jones and jail staff in exchange for “losing” her incarcerated brother’s legal paperwork and “letting her and her brother go.”
Fuqua was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and bribery of a public servant. She was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $75,500.00 bond.
