Benjamin Lynn Bruce, age 32, of Florence, Alabama was arrested on Monday, October 7th on multiple charges, including manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine, criminal impersonation, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule VI for resale, and tampering with evidence. Deputy Dale Ray filed a report stating that during the course of a traffic stop he performed on Bruce for outstanding warrants in Alabama, Bruce gave a false name and date of birth. During the traffic stop, Bruce was allegedly found to be in possession of over ½ gram of methamphetamine, approximately 126 grams of marijuana, and digital scales. Bruce allegedly tried to pour the methamphetamine into a soft drink can to destroy the evidence. He was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $115,000.00 bond.
