Florence Man Arrested for Meth and Marijuana

   Clifford Harrington Leonard, age 39, of Florence, Alabama, was arrested on Sunday, January 3^rd, 2021 on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The report filed by Deputy Brent Butler stated that Leonard was allegedly in possession of a small plastic bag found under the driver’s seat of his vehicle that contained approximately 3.7 grams of methamphetamine, along with a glass pipe commonly used to smoke meth. After being placed into Deputy Butler’s vehicle for transport to jail, Leonard allegedly put some marijuana behind the seat in the patrol vehicle. Leonard was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $78,500.00 bond.
