Johnny Ray Garrie, age 42, of Florence, Alabama, was arrested on Thursday, November 12th on charges of escape and failure to appear. The report states that Garrie was released from the Wayne County Jail on furlough on February 24th, 2017, and was supposed to report back to the jail on March 10th, 2017. Garrie did not ever return to the jail to report back in as he was supposed to do. He was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $25,000.00 bond.
