Waynesboro is set to greet the warm days of spring by enjoying a community yard sale this Saturday, May 8th, 2021. The event will take place on the inside of the public square beginning at 9am and continuing until 2pm. The Downtown Waynesboro Committee is hosting this first-time affair with many individuals participating. Gently used items such as adult and children’s clothing, shoes, accessories, household items, home décor, toys, small furniture pieces, arts & craft supplies, and much more will be available at bargain prices!
It’s not too late to participate! If you or anyone you know currently has lightly used items you would like to pass along, contact the Downtown Waynesboro Committee to register and reserve your spot.
Many of the downtown merchants will also be participating with their own clean-out sales. Be sure to stop by and check out what deals they may have in store as well.
The Downtown Waynesboro Committee is excited to provide events that give families the opportunity to not only enjoy our town, but enjoy the spring season in a fun and safe environment. Our community has pivoted during the past year to adapt to the changing times with new needs for its patrons and this event is another example of efforts to continue our mission in enriching the lives.
