On Sunday, December 1st, a fire truck belonging to the Lutts Volunteer Fire Department overturned on Bear Creek Road in south Wayne County. Two VFD first responders were reportedly injured in the accident and were flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. According to family members, both were released later on Sunday night after evaluation and treatment of their injuries.
