It’s that time of year again! With Halloween now in the rearview mirror, the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season has already begun to ramp up into full swing!

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce has already begun planning for the annual Festival of Trees that takes place every year in the Wayne County Administrative Building (the courthouse on the square). The many themed and beautifully decorated trees will be set up by local churches, organizations, and civic groups on all three floors of the courthouse for the public to observe and enjoy.

Setup will begin on Monday, November 21st. Please bring your own extension cords along with your creativity when decorating your tree. The trees are to be spaced at least five feet apart in order to be more individually visible and pleasing to the eye. Only LED lights will be allowed on the trees to keep from blowing fuses!

The News will give our readers more details on the Festival of Trees as the holiday season draws nearer. Anyone with questions may call the Chamber office at 931-722-3575.
