Fatal Crash Claims Life of Waynesboro Woman

   According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a Waynesboro woman, Angela Ellison, age 49, was killed in a single vehicle accident on Thursday evening, February 6th, in Wayne County.

   The report states that Curtis (Mitchell) Ellison, age 63, of Waynesboro, was headed west in a 2008 Nissan on Clifton Turnpike last Thursday evening at approximately 5:00 p.m. As Mr. Ellison was attempting to negotiate a curve, the report states that he over-corrected after going onto the shoulder of the road, and struck a tree on the opposite side of the road.

   Angela Ellison, the passenger in the vehicle, died from injuries she sustained in the accident. Curtis M. Ellison was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of his injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
