Everett Eugene (Gene) Gallien, Iron City, Tennessee, was born August 25, 1958 in Florence, Alabama, the son of the late Leland and Lila Ruth O’Bryant Gallien. Mr. Gallien, a disabled factory worker, departed this life Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 62 Years, 11 Months, 7 Days.
Survivors include a brother, Michael (Mike) Gallien and sisters, Carolyn Ann Mauldon, Janis Faye Cook and Deborah Annette Jackson (Michael) all of Iron City, TN; nephews, Dewayne Mauldon, Chris Mauldon (Sabrina), Corey Jackson and Matt Gallien. and nieces, Amy Payne (Jason), Emily Jackson and Megan Gallien.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 3 pm at Whitten’s Crossroads Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Chris Mauldon officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be from 2:30 pm to service time at cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Gallien, Corey Jackson, Chris Mauldon, Jason Payne, Dewayne Mauldon and Mike Jackson with honorary pallbearers being Steve Butler and Jerry Roberson.
