   Mrs. Edna Merle Brown Daniel was born October 3, 1954 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Willie James and Alice Irene Morgan Brown. She was united in marriage to Dwight Daniel on May 27, 1972. She was a member of Houston Baptist Church and attended Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Daniel worked for 28 years at Murray Ohio as well as a number of years for Tennessee Apparel. Mrs. Daniel departed this life on October 15, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee making her stay in this life some 66 Years and 12 Days.

   She is survived by her husband Dwight Daniel; a daughter, Jody Smith; a son, Heath Daniel; four grandchildren, Heather Stults, Savannah Hanvey, Kannan Hanvey, Xander Daniel; great-grandchild, Dani Mae Stults; five sisters, Mary Ruth Davis, Rebecca Brown, Eddie Mae Crews, Jonnie Davis, Edith  Bratcher; sisters-in-law, Neva Brown, Shelia Brown, Effie Brown, and Josephine Brown. Mrs. Daniel is also survived by two special fur babies, Abby and Mr. Peppers; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She was truly loved  by all.

   In addition to her parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather  Michelle Daniel; a grandchild, Kody Don Hanvey; six brothers, Paul Brown, Perry Brown, Brodie “Sam” Brown, Jerry Brown, W.J. “Runt” Brown, Thomas Ray “Brock” Brown; brother-in-law, Larry Davis; and sisters-in-law, Mattie Brown and Nelle Brown.

   Services were held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Collinwood with Greg Eaton and Stephen Stults officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery at Collinwood with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting.
