   Mrs. Dorothy Mae Holt Perry of Waynesboro, Tennessee was born March 23, 1930 in Lutts, Tennessee.  She was a daughter of the late Dalton and Savannah Sherrill Holt. Mrs. Perry was united in marriage to Jessie Newton Perry on January 7, 1950 and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Perry departed this life on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at her residence in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 90 Years, 9 Months and 10 Days.

   She is survived by a son, Grady Anthony Perry and his wife, Beverly of Clifton, TN; her daughters, Brenda Jean Shedd and Donna Shedd both of Waynesboro, TN and Jane Evelyn Booher and her husband, Eddie of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Jean Ayers and Patricia Horton, and her brother, Cecil Holt and his wife, Carolyn all of Collinwood, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her sons, Roy Perry, Johnny Ray Perry, and Jessie Dalton Perry; her sister, Lavacy (Jamup) Heard and her brother, Ronnie Joe Holt.

   Funeral services for Mrs. Perry were held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Cromwell Crossroads Community Church near Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. Serving as pallbearers were Lance Gailey, Toby Lineberry, Michael Horton, Danny Dodd, James (Nub) Staggs, and Chad Moriarty.
