   Donna Lou Griffin Risner was born March 17, 1950 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Johnny O. and Emma Jo Devers Griffin. Mrs. Risner was retired from Angelica as a sewing machine operator. She was of the Baptist faith and was united in marriage to David Risner on March 1, 1969. Mrs. Risner departed this life on Thursday, February 18, 2021at her residence in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 11 Months, 1 Day.

   She is survived by her husband, David Risner; sons, Ronnie Risner, Shayne Risner and wife, Darlene and Trevor Risner all of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Jordan Butler and husband, Clint, Kelsey Risner, Zach Risner and  wife, Kelbie, Tucker Risner and Owen Risner; great-grandchildren, Beau Thomas and Clara Mae Butler; brother, Danny Griffin of Waynesboro, TN and sister, Carolyn Stooksberry of Lawrenceburg, TN. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Risner was preceded in death by brother, Greg Griffin.

   Services were held on Sunday February 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Danny Huckaba and Roger Risner officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation was Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 11:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN. Pallbearers were Zach Risner, Tucker Risner, Owen Risner, Alvin Griffin, Andrew Risner and John Risner with Michael Risner and Adrian Risner serving as honorary pallbearers.
