Donald Keith Montgomery was born February 17, 1970 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of Donald “Donnie” Ray and Brenda Joy Roberson Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Lauderdale County, AL and was a member of the Killen Methodist Church in Killen, AL. He departed this life on January 7, 2023 in Killen, AL at the age of 52 years, 10 months, and 21 days.
He is survived by parents, Donald “Donnie” Ray and Brenda Joy Roberson Montgomery; a daughter, Ashlyn Grace Montgomery (Briar Grisham); a sister, Tina Montgomery Leatherwood, all of Killen, AL; aunts, Melba Montgomery of Lutts, TN, Pam Smith of Killen, AL, and Judy Montgomery of Collinwood, TN; uncle, G.L. Montgomery (Marianne) of Athens, AL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by, a daughter, Katelyn Santana Montgomery; aunt, Daonna Roberson; uncles, Bobby Montgomery; and grandparents, Lee and Lillian Montgomery, and James and Juanula Roberson.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN, with Brian McIntyre officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
Pallbearers were Anthony Michael, Blaine Roberson, Tony Roberson, Alex Smith, and Brian Wright.
