Decaturville Man Arrested on Methamphetamine Charges

   Roger Ray Ragland, age 55, of Decaturville, Tennessee, was arrested on Sunday, December 15th on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture/deliver/sell/possession of methamphetamine. Sergeant Eric Wilson of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office filed a report stating that while patrolling on Indian Creek Road in the early morning hours, he noticed a suspicious vehicle in the middle of the road. Ragland, the driver of the vehicle, allegedly gave consent for Sgt. Wilson to search the vehicle, which revealed 7.4 grams of methamphetamine located in the sunglasses compartment. Ragland then allegedly turned over a glass pipe used for smoking meth. He was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $85,000.00 bond.
