   Daken Spencer Maples was born August 24, 1990 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, the son of David Maples and Judy Garner. He was united in marriage to Erika on September 3, 2015. He was a tow boat mate and loved his wife, children and three dogs he loved as his children Jessie Belle, Roxanne and Dolly. Mr. Maples departed this life on September 3, 2021 at his home in Waynesboro at the age of 31 Years, 10 Days.

   He is survived by his wife Erika Maples and sons Joe Ellis Neely and Willie Cecil Maples all of Waynesboro, TN; father David Maples of Westpoint, TN; mother Judy Garner of Waynesboro, TN; grandparents, Shirley Jean Maples of Westpoint, TN, Sandy Kilburn of Waynesboro, TN; step-mother Starr Maples of Waynesboro, TN; three brothers, Daniel and Dustin Jones and Noah Maples of Waynesboro, TN; three sisters, Abbie Maples, Chelsey Bolton, Paighton Bolton all of Waynesboro, TN; aunt Kim Risner of Waynesboro, TN; uncle Mark Maples of Waynesboro, TN; cousins Joeci Maples Stephenson and Jonathon Stephenson, children Bailey and Mason Stephenson; nephew Copelin Clayton and niece Madison Jones of Waynesboro, TN; father-in-law Phillip Bolton and mother-in-law Kristie Bolton. He is preceded in death by grandparents Ellis Risner, Bobbie Sue Risner, and Joe Maples; brother Dustyn Kilburn.

   Services were held on September 7, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton, Camryn Eaton officiating. Burial followed in the Gallaher Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee. Visitation was held Monday, September 6, 2021 from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM and again on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 9:00 AM till service time at 3:00 PM.
