Cypress Inn Man Arrested for Burglary and Theft

   Nicholas Ray Burns, age 37, of Cypress Inn, was arrested on Wednesday, July 8^th on multiple burglary and theft charges. The report filed by Investigator Matt Retherford stated that between June 30^th and July 3^rd, 2020, Burns allegedly entered a semi truck and a combine located at the intersection of Berry Road and Dave Rich Road and stole batteries and a radio. Between those same dates, Burns also allegedly burglarized a tractor located near Cromwell Ridge Road and stole a radio. He was arrested on three counts of burglary and two counts of theft of property under $1,000, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $80,000.00 bond.
