Curt Austin Gerber Arrested for Meth

   Curt Austin Gerber, age 29, of Waynesboro was arrested on Saturday, December 28th on charges of manufacture/deliver/sell/possession of methamphetamine, reckless endangerment, and driving on revoked 2nd offense. Deputy Tyler McKenzie filed a report stating that as he was patrolling on Highway 99, he pulled over a vehicle driven by Gerber for a broken taillight. A six-year-old child was a passenger in Gerber’s vehicle. When Gerber was emptying his pants pockets at Deputy McKenzie’s request, the deputy allegedly observed Gerber trying to hide a small plastic bag. When Deputy McKenzie retrieved the bag, it contained less than 0.5 grams of methamphetamine. Gerber was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $57,500.00 bond.
