A young lady from Collinwood tragically lost her life on Sunday when the ATV she was riding with another teen crashed on Pinhook Pike in southern Wayne County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported that Rachel Wise, age 19, was the passenger on a 2007 Arctic Cat ATV traveling south on Pinhook Pike on Sunday, June 6th. The ATV reportedly left the roadway, traveled through a ditch, hit a fence, and then struck a tree. Ms. Wise sadly passed away from the severe injuries she received in the crash. The juvenile who was driving the ATV was airlifted to a Nashville hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the accident.
