Sunday was a beautiful day in Collinwood for the Beautification Board’s Annual Christmas Parade! A huge crowd awaited the arrival of Santa.

The parade began with the Collinwood Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, followed by the Collinwood American Legion Post 254 Color Guard and the Confederate 48th Tennessee Regiment Reenactors commanded by Captain David Bradley.

This year’s Grand Marshal, Collinwood City Manager Gary Victory and his lovely wife Vickey, were followed by the CHS Marching Band, county fire departments, rescue vehicles, floats, classic cars, horses, tractors, and even a special visit from the Clark Griswold family! And of course, the parade included a special visit from Santa Claus himself. His helpers, Ayden, Owen, and Nolen Chambers, had the honor of riding in Santa’s sleigh during the parade.
