“A Treasure of Christmas Memories” filled the streets of Collinwood on Sunday when the annual Collinwood Christmas Parade made its way through town just a day after terrible storms hit Tennessee and our neighboring states. Everyone’s thoughts and prayers were and continue to be with all those affected by the storms.

Leading the parade was Wayne County Sheriff Shane Fisher, followed by the Collinwood American Legion, Sons of the Confederacy, and the Collinwood Marching Band. As in many years past, there were also lots of beautiful cars, trucks, floats, fire trucks, horses, and of course, Santa Claus!

The parade was one of the biggest and best ever. Many people turned out and showed what a wonderful, family-oriented little town Collinwood is. The Collinwood Police Department helped as always by blocking the streets and keeping the parade running smoothly.

The parade is hosted by the Collinwood Beautification Board.
