This year was different, but they made it! In years past, bass teams only had to fish a certain number of tournaments to qualify for the State Championship. This season was the first year teams had to qualify based on not only the number of tournaments they fished, but teams also had to finish within the top 30 in the region.
Xander Daniel and Harrison Rich finished the season with 272 team of the year points, placing them 28th overall. They competed against 345 other teams throughout the season, all of whom were angling for a top 30 spot in the West Region. This is a huge accomplishment for the two young freshmen. They are now preparing for the two-day Tennessee Bass Nation State Championship on Kentucky Lake in Paris, TN on June 3rd and 4th.

Both of the Jr. High teams came in with a strong finish to the regular season, placing 21st and 27th out of a 44-boat field! These two teams and their boat captains put in a great deal of work to compete in every tournament. Patch Craig and Bennett Rich finished 21st, and Maddie Brown and Tate Linville finished 27th.
