The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission says the owners of Clifton Marina are facing multiple charges dealing with underage consumption and sales of alcohol.

According to court documents, Stacy Huntingford and Christopher Huntingford of 111 Harbour Drive, Clifton, TN, were recently served with at least twelve criminal citations for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

The criminal citations allege that from February to June, 2022, minors were “knowingly” allowed to act as “bartenders” at the Huntingfords’ business. Several other citations allege that both Huntingfords “knowingly and willingly caused, contributed and encouraged the consumption of alcoholic beverages to an underage person.” Each of these events “was on a marina business’ rental pontoon.”

According to the City of Clifton website, Stacy Huntingford serves as a Clifton City Commissioner.

Sources close to the investigation state that these and other civil and criminal charges may be forthcoming.  Law enforcement declined comment saying this was an open and active investigation.

These incidents are being investigated, by the ABC and Clifton Police Department. The Huntingfords are due in court on October 4th, 2022.
