The report filed by Investigator Steve Wilson of the Clifton Police Department stated that over a period of time throughout the day on April 17th, Blue beat his wife, causing serious bodily injury, and prevented her from leaving the residence. Blue’s wife was eventually able to flee to a neighbor’s house, who happened to be an officer with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Trooper Josh Eaves. Blue was found inside the residence, along with the victim’s 14-month-old child, who was allegedly lying alone on a bed. The bed, walls, and floor in the bedroom were all allegedly covered in a large amount of blood, and the child was bloody as well from being present during the assault on the mother. Officers also located a handgun in the bedroom and two pistols, a small amount of marijuana, and alcohol in the living room of the home.
