Christopher Edward Riley, age 41, of Clifton, was arrested on Thursday, March 25th on charges of domestic assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. Clifton Police Officer Timmy Harris filed a report stating that he was called to perform a welfare check at the residence of Mrs. Bonnie Riley, and when he arrived at the residence, Mrs. Riley was very upset and said that Christopher Riley had been shouting and cursing at her. She then showed Officer Harris where Christopher Riley had allegedly knocked holes in the walls and doors of the home. When Officer Harris attempted to place Christopher Riley under arrest, he allegedly resisted and initially refused to get into the patrol car. Riley was ultimately arrested and transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
