City of Waynesboro Bid Notice

The City of Waynesboro is now accepting bids for construction of a pavilion at the Waynesboro City Park. Specifications are as follows:

Demolition: Existing concrete slab, bricks, blocks, etc. must be removed from premises with area being prepped afterward using #57 gravel.

Slab: Construct 30×60 monolithic concrete slab, min of 5 inches in depth, using 3500 PSI w/ fiber, 2 strands ½ inch rebar on perimeter, 6 mil plastic and rewire throughout. Must be light broom finished and sealed.

Framing: 10- 8×8 post, 30-foot trusses set w/ 4/12 pitch on 2-foot centers w/ 16-inch overlay typical. Double 2×12 beams at 8-foot AFF. 2×4 lathe on 2-foot centers. #1 brown galvalume metal roofing and gable ends that match existing bathrooms.

Finish: Both 30-foot ends enclosed w/ 2×4 walls and 7-inch hardy board lap siding on exterior and interior. Caulked and painted with color TBD.

Electrical: Pull Conduit from existing bathroom breaker box mounting 8 GFI plugs on post and end walls. Wire and mount 8 LED fixtures on trusses being operated on one switch. Must be wired to code and inspected.

Sealed bids must be clearly marked “City Park Pavilion” and submitted by 4:00pm on Friday, April 9, 2021, and will be opened immediately. Bids and Recommendations will be presented to the Waynesboro City Commission in regular meeting on April 12, 2021 at 5:30pm for awarding. The City of Waynesboro has the right to accept or deny any bid for any reason.
