On Monday, December 14, the CHS Trojanettes traveled to Lauderdale County, Alabama, and suffered their first loss of the season, 45-57. AC Whitehead led the team in scoring with 16 points and had 5 rebounds. Alyssa Gray followed Whitehead with 7 points and 6 rebounds. Addie Quillen finished the game with 6 points and 2 rebounds, Sophie Gobbell had 5 points and 5 rebounds, Harlee Haddock had 4 points and 2 rebounds, Rhianna McWilliams had 4 points and 3 rebounds, and Asia Kelly had 3 points and 9 rebounds.
The Trojans also traveled to Lauderdale County and suffered a loss, 35-84. Benson Blalock led the team in scoring with 10 points, and Peyton Ward followed with 8 points. Kelsey Moore scored 5 points, Noah Haddock and Aidan Baskins each scored 3 points, Joe Hensley and Carter Smith each scored 2 points, and Dayton Scott and Branston Holt each scored 1 point.
The Trojanettes had to quickly recover from Monday night’s game and gear up for Tuesday’s game against Rogers. The girls put up a good battle and suffered a 1-point loss, 42-43. AC Whitehead led the team with 17 points and had 6 rebounds. Sophie Gobbell scored 9 points and 7 rebounds, Asia Kelly had 8 points and 10 rebounds, Harlee Haddock had 6 points and 2 rebounds, and Rhianna McWilliams had 2 points and 5 rebounds. Alyssa Gray and Addie Quillen each had 2 rebounds.
The Trojans also faced Rogers on Tuesday night and suffered a loss of 42-52. Peyton Ward led the team with 13 points, Noah Haddock had 9 points, Cort Robertson had 7 points, Dayton Scott had 6 points, Benson Blalock had 6 points, and Joe Hensley had 1 point.
On Thursday, December 17, the Trojanettes traveled to Mount Pleasant and finished out their week with a win, 72-53. AC Whitehead led the team with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Alyssa Gray scored 16 points and had 2 rebounds, Sophie Gobbell had 15 points and 11 rebounds, Rhianna McWilliams had 8 points and 8 rebounds, Harlee Haddock scored 8 points and had 5 rebounds, Addie Quillen had 4 points and 7 rebounds, and Danlee Bray had 2 points and 3 rebounds.
