The Collinwood High School Trojanettes traveled to Mt. Pleasant on Friday, January 3rd. Their trip resulted in a win with a final score of 64-38. The Trojanettes proudly wore #24 on their shoes in remembrance of Adam Andrews.
Asia Kelly led in scoring and rebounds with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Following Kelly were Emily Kautsky and Sophie Gobbell, each scoring 10 points and having 4 rebounds. Also scoring for the Trojanettes were Kristen Retherford with 8 points and 3 rebounds, AC Whitehead with 7 points and 7 rebounds, Harlee Haddock with 5 points and 1 rebound, Katie Robertson with 4 points and 4 rebounds, Alyssa Gray with 3 points and 3 rebounds, Rhianna McWilliams with 2 points and 1 rebound, and Addie Quillen with 2 points and 4 rebounds. Brylee Harris finished the game with 4 rebounds and Hayley Siems had 1 rebound.
The Trojanettes now have a record of 8-1. The Trojans and Trojanettes begin their district games this week playing Loretto and Perry County. They will travel to Perry County on Friday, so come out and make the trip to support our Trojan and Trojanettes!—Submitted
